SA musician David Scott, more popularly known by his stage name ‘The Kiffness’, is currently on a North American tour with his band and was due to perform in Detroit Tuesday night after a series of sold-out shows in New York and Philadelphia.
However, this was not to be as Scott explained to disappointed fans on social media that the show had to be canceled as some of the gear from their van had been stolen.
Scott said: "No one got hurt - We're insured - The gear that was taken is replaceable - Precious items weren't in the van - The news spot was great publicity - The show goes on - Haters reading this have chest pains"
And looking on the positive side he said that the theft had made it onto Fox News, giving the band some great publicity.
