First time author Daniel Strauss

Daniel Strauss’ first book, The Billionaire Mindset, was released in bookstores and on online platforms nationwide in February this year – it has become a best seller.

On 26 February 2021, the successful entrepreneur and venture capitalist, Daniel Strauss’ first book, The Billionaire Mindset, was released in bookstores and on online platforms nationwide and as predicted, it has become a best-seller.

According to Nielsen Bookscan SA (NBS-SA), this highly entertaining book in which Daniel explains how entrepreneurs can change their lives by changing their way of thinking has been the number one Afrikaans seller for the past three weeks. This announcement comes after the book became the number one seller of all Afrikaans and South African books shortly after its release.

Says Daniel of his first book, “I honestly only wrote the book to help other entrepreneurs. I really just want to help people. I did not think that anyone else, other than my mother and wife would buy the book”, he laughs shyly. “I am humbly grateful for everyone’s support and incredibly excited to see the positive impact it is going to have on people’s way of thinking. It can really cause a revolution in the business world.”

Daniel Strauss (38) is an entrepreneur and venture capitalist. He is both a macro-optimist and a micro-realist. Passionate about wealth creation, he finds great joy in unlocking the full potential of people from different walks of life, especially those building businesses.

Over the years, he has also attended various courses in places like China, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, which he describes as invaluable. It is also no secret that he considers mentorship an extremely important part of each aspect of a person’s life.

Daniel matriculated at High School Keimoes and was a keen rugby player and athlete at university. He excelled at 110m hurdles in school and attended the South African championships. He was also the Dux scholar of his school.
