Titled Miss Americana, it debuted at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival to great critical acclaim on the 23rd of January. Directed by Lana Wilson, it covers everything from the making of her 7th studio album to her past battle with an eating disorder. Miss Americana is Taylor Swift as she wants you to see her.
Netflix has described the film as a "raw and emotionally revealing look" at Swift during a transformational period in her life. Taylor Swift has said of the experience on Instagram,” It’s wild to be sharing so much of my life because it’s scary to be vulnerable”.
