Tannie Evita celebrates a milestone birthday and unveils a whole new look

Congratulations to the inimitable Tannie Evita Bezuidenhout who turns 85 today and has unveiled a whole new post lockdown look. Congratulations are also in order for her beloved and inseparable friend, Pieter Dirk Uys, who at ten years younger turns 75.

There is no doubt that the two will be celebrating together in Darling today. Tannie Evita is probably eager to show off her 'makeover' which Uys is calling her “Helen Mirren’ look! As stated on Instagram, Tannie Evita could not make her weekly trip to the hairdresser due to the global pandemic but with her new hairstyle and thanks to a special shampoo donated by Clicks, “Tannie Evita now joins the ranks of mature international beauties like Dame Helen Mirren and Jane Fonda”.

During the lockdown period a weekly visit to her hairdresser was out of the question. A multitude of changes also took place at Evita se Perron during lockdown. Tannie Evita, also the mother of cooking, made space for Swartland Kitchen to fill the heart of the Perron. Rusks are a South African favourite and Swartland Kitchen rusks are the Tannie’s choice.
