Last year vivacious Thandokazi Mfundisi was crowned Miss Eastern Cape, since then she has not only been studying for her final year as an LLB student at Fort Hare University, she has also been pursuing her dream of becoming the next Miss South Africa. That dream is now within reach.
Thandokazi has just been announced as one of the regional qualifiers who will vie for one of the coveted 12 finalist positions on the 3rd of May. The main event takes place on the 27th of May at the Time Square Arena in Pretoria, it promises to be a dazzling affair that will be televised by M-Net.
The group of 28 are a true combination of beauty and brains, among them is a mechanical engineer, law students, several medical and science students and even a news presenter. Should Thandokazi Mfundisi win the crown, she will walk away with R2 million in prizes.
