Steve Harvey’s “Family Feud” about to debut in Mzansi

Make a date with your couch for Sunday, the 5th April at 6 pm as Steve Harvey’s Family Feud debuts in South Africa on e.tv.

Taking to Instagram Harvey proudly wrote: “SEASON 1 FAMILY FEUD SOUTH AFRICA IS OFFICIALLY COMPLETE!!! Thank you to everyone that help make this a reality!! God truly does make dreams come true!! #familyfeudsa

According to the official Family Feud website familyfeud.com, Harvey is on track to being the “longest-serving host in Family Feud history.” On air since 1976, it has generated adaptations in over 50 international markets. Family Feud Africa will be the first international version of the show hosted by Steve Harvey.

Harvey says, “Bringing Family Feud to Africa has long been a dream of mine. I believe Family Feud will become a household name for local African families. And this is just the beginning in Africa. I expect this show to lead to multiple media and business projects in and throughout the continent.”

So, what is it all about? Two families compete to name the most popular responses to collected survey questions in order to win cash and prizes. You are guaranteed plenty of laughs as the families battle it out with funny man Harvey as the consummate host. The family that gains the most points walks away with the prize money. And there are no losers in this game show, headline sponsor KFC will give away a Finger-Lickin' Good bucket of R10 000 in KFC vouchers every week to the losing family.

The South African season will air every Sunday at 6 pm on e.tv from April 5 until  September 27, with a repeat on eExtra on Friday nights.
