Sophie Ndaba-Lichaba who is best known for the role as Queenie she used to play in the soapie Generations, has recently revealed the story behind her weight loss.
This has come after trolls have attacked her and her family on social media.
Among those tweets trolls accused her of having HIV and that it is the reason for her dramatic weight loss.
Sophie Ndaba-Lichaba who says she is used to receiving some form of negativity has decided to speak out against the trolls and she did this by making the following post:
In it she speaks of having suffered with diabetes and because of that she made some lifestyle changes.
This included eating healthier which lead to her current weight.
In an interview with Karishma Thakurdin Sophie has the following to say:
"Some people sadden me because I have lost both my parents through diabetes, I nursed them so I know this killer disease. It's real. No joke. Our fellow sisters and brothers commit suicide because of pressure of what you negative heartless people think. I stopped worrying what any negative person thinks long ago."
