Taking to social media to tease his upcoming new TV series, Somizi has let us in on a few interesting tidbits to whet our appetites.
Yes, it’s a cooking show but a cooking show with a difference. While no specifics have been released yet it looks like the Idols judge and reality TV star will be playing host to many a Mzansi celeb during the course of the series.
To promote the upcoming show Somizi took to social media to share pictures of himself getting cosy with both Springbok Captain Siya Kolisi and rapper Cassper Nyovest. It's only natural to deduce that it is both a cooking show and a chat show that will see a host of famous faces taking to the couch to get up close and personal with Somizi while dinner bubbles away on the stove.

The show will be aired on DStv by 1Magic TV whose tweet,”: “Bring out your aprons and get ready to welcome @somizi’s sass and creativity into your homes soon,” gave it all away.

Somizi has told his social media followers that the big reveal will be happening Monday. He excitedly said on social media: “The cat is out of the bag… you have asked for it and powers have finally answered your call. I am super excited and grateful. It’s gonna be epic, will keep you posted on the premier, but its definitely in less than 15 days.”
Rumour has it that The River actor Zidane Mthembu will also be making an appearance as well as Gospel legend Rebecca Malope.
