Monday night saw the Peace and Sport Documentary Prize awarded to ‘Rise: The Siya Kolisi Story’, the intensely personal look at Kolisi's journey from the dusty streets of township life to becoming the first black rugby captain for the Springboks.
Upon accepting the award, the film’s director, Tebogo Malope, aptly stated, “There has never been a more timely moment to advocate for peace than the present.
