Dr Elvis Francois and Dr William Robinson released an EP titled “Music Is Medicine” and it has entered them in the Emerging Artists at the No.21 spot.
The Orthopaedic surgeons are based in Minnesota at the Mayo Clinic and they drew attention after they did covers of Bill Wither’s “Lean On Me” and John Lennon’s “Imagine”.
Now they released a new EP and the singing surgeons debuted on the Billboard's charts. According to Nielsen Music/MRC data, their 4th track on their project debuted at No.39 on the top current album sales and at No.50 on top album sales.
They EP sold 2000 copies and all proceeding will go to the Centre for Disaster Philanthropy’s COVID-19 Response Fund.
