TMZ reported her hospitalisation in a mental health facility after the pop star was hospitalised twice in the past two weeks.
Selena received a kidney transplant earlier this year and according to TMZ she was hospitalised due to becoming "despondent and emotional over an alarmingly low white blood cell count in the wake of her kidney transplant."
Further reports state that her stay at the hospital overwhelmed her and lead to an "emotional breakdown".
It is said that the pop star is currently at a psychiatric facility on the East Coast receiving DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), a treatment used for various mental health conditions.
The Cosmopolitan reports that Justin Bieber isn't handling the news of Selena's hospitalisation well. He was spotted being comforted by church friends and is visibly upset.
