On Wednesday Warner Bros announced that the release of the upcoming animated film of Scooby-Doo will be released on the 15th of May on digital platforms.
Scoob will not be released on the big screen due to the corona virus pandemic, the movie features the likes of Zac Efron, Mark Wahlberg and Amanda Seyfried.
Warner Bros has decided that Scoob will be released on premium digital and PVOD on the 15th of May which is the original date that was scheduled for Scoob to hit the cinemas and the movie will be available for a 48 hour rental at the price of $19.99.
In a statement, the Warner Bros CEO said that while they are all eager to be able to once again show their films in theatres, they are navigating new ways to distribute content in these unprecedented time which challenges creatives to think of new ways to distribute their art.
He added that they know fans are eager to see the movie Scoob and they are delighted that they can deliver this feel-good movie for families to enjoy while being at home together.
Fans can also look out for Daphne, Gina Rodriguez, Will Forte and Frank as they also feature in the movie.
