Sarah Jessica Parker would welcome the idea of a Sex & the City reunion on new show

Sarah Jessica Parker has dismissed talk she has fallen out with her Sex & the City castmates, insisting she'd love to work with them again. As she promotes her new HBO show Divorce, the actress has welcomed the idea of a reunion with Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis."I hadn't thought about that," she tells Entertainment Tonight. "I don't think anybody would be opposed to any idea if it felt right for the part and if the actor felt like they wanted to do it."

The first season of the show, in which Parker plays an unhappily-married wife, has already been filmed, but there could be roles for her old pals coming up and Nixon tells the news show she would jump at the opportunity to work with Sarah Jessica again."I would entertain any of those ideas," Parker says.Sarah Jessica is also keen to alert fans her new HBO character is nothing like her beloved Carrie Bradshaw, the heroine of Sex & the City.In Divorce, she's an executive recruiter and mother-of-two."It's different," Parker says.

"She has a different relationship to men, to romance, to money, to New York City, to children, to commitments."Frances is not nearly as buoyant, as technicolour (as Carrie)... Still waters run deep with her."And Sarah Jessica has a new girl power posse in her new show - Molly Shannon and Talia Balsam play Frances' bitter best friends."Talia was my first choice but I didn't tell anybody," the actress tells the news show. "I've known Talia's work for a really long time. I have loved working with Molly and Talia. In fact, one of the things I'm very much looking forward to next season is a chance to spend more time on and off screen with both women."
