The beleaguered SABC has pulled the plug on its popular lifestyle show Top Billing after 23 years.
According to an article posted by Sowetan Live, the show that was conceptualised by Basetsana Kumalo and Patience Stevens will air its final episode on Saturday. Basetsana Kumalo is also the Executive Producer & Chairman of Tswelopele Production, the producers of the show.
According to SABC’s spokesperson, Vuyo Mthembu, an official media statement will be released in due course.
The Top Billing Twitter page invites followers to watch the Saturday night show with a brief teaser video but does not refer to it being the last time that Top Billing will air.
