SA stuntwoman Olivia Jackson sues for R36m after losing arm

South African stuntwoman Olivia Jackson is suing various parties involved in the filming of a stunt that went horribly wrong on the set of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. The stunt involving a motorbike resulted in Olivia being in a coma for 17 days and losing her left arm.

The accident happened three years ago and since then she has undergone various surgeries to try and correct the damage caused. At the time, she was the stunt double for Rosie Huntington Whitely. Olivia is suing as she says that she is now unemployable.

The case was filed at the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria. All the accused parties, according to Sky News, have served notice to defend their actions.

In the video below, Olivia Jackson explains in her own words, what went wrong on that fateful day.
