Actress, businesswoman and human rights activist, Nomzamo Mbatha, is a talent to be reckoned with and a South African who lives the concept of Ubuntu. She will now be able to further her passion for uplifting others through her appointment as the first Cotton On Foundation ambassador in South Africa.
In her role, Mbatha will assist the Cotton On Foundation, the CSI branch of the Australian retailer Cotton On Group, with its goal of delivering quality education to young South Africans.
Already hard at work in the community, the Foundation has reached its first milestone, the opening of a state of the art school in the township of KwaMashu in KwaZulu-Natal. eThekwini Primary School will now be home to 1,280 learners from disadvantaged backgrounds.
