Britain’s Royal Mail has announced that it will launch a set of 12 stamps later this month to celebrate The Rolling Stones as the iconic band marks its 60th anniversary.

Royal Mail said that eight of the stamps will feature images of some of the group’s most famous performances including the 1969 concert in London's Hyde Park, the 1976 Knebworth Festival, and a 1995 concert in Rotterdam.

The national delivery service is said to have worked closely with band members Sir Mick Jagger, Ronnie Wood, and Keith Richards to create the stamps.

The English band was formed in London in 1962 and remains one of rock's most enduring groups, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989, and the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2004.
