It has been reported across various media platforms that British actor Robert Pattinson has contracted COVID-19, putting a halt to the filming of The Batman movie for the second time this year.
Warner Bros. has yet to confirm that Pattinson is the person with the virus, but they did release a statement to the media saying that a “crew member” had tested positive and that filming had been halted.
However, according to both Vanity Fair and The Hollywood Reporter, reliable sources say that it is indeed Pattinson who has tested positive.
The delay in filming will no doubt be a costly exercise for Warner Bros.
We wish you a speedy recovery Robert Pattinson - in the meantime if you have not seen it yet – the first trailer for The Batman dropped last month.
