Titled Lift Me Up, it is the lead single on the soon-to-be-released Marvel film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
According to the movie's director Ryan Coogler, Rihanna wanted to be a part of the movie's soundtrack to honor the memory of the late Chadwick Boseman who played the role of King TChalla in the first Black Panther movie.
Taking to Twitter she teased the single by writing the title of the song, Lift Me Up,and the date "10.28.22" along with a 14-second clip.

The track is set to be released on Friday 28 October, two weeks before the film's theatrical release on 11 November.
