On Tuesday afternoon, Ricki Lake payed tribute to her late ex-husband Christian Evans in a social media post .
The couple wed in April 2012 and split in October 2014. In an interview with People magazine, Ricki gushed about Evans:
"We met through my best friend. He's a nobody but he's somebody to me, he's everything to me. We just clicked," Ricki added. "It just feels like he was the right one all along."
Evans was Lake’s second husband. She was previously married to illustrator Rob Sussman from 1994 to 2004, and the pair have two teenage sons together.
