Renee Zellweger: 'Beyonce's words get me through'

Renee Zellweger and her girlfriends rely on Beyonce?s words of wisdom to get them through hard times. The actress is back to her Bridget Jones best in the third instalment of the movie franchise, Bridget Jones?s Baby, which hits screens from 14 September (16). While her British screen alter ego exudes confidence, Renee is less comfortable in real life and still finds it hard to embrace her A-list persona. However she and her gal pals have learnt that the key to feeling good is listening to queen of the charts, Beyonce. ?I?m getting better at it. Not good at it,? Renee told Red magazine of being famous. ?I don?t think I?ll ever be good at being a public person, because there?s nothing natural about it.

?I depend on my little group of girlfriends, all of them different and brilliant. We get together and watch Beyonce?s (visual album) Lemonade, and subsequently email a million mantras. We?ve got Beyonce, so things aren?t all bad. And you know, Beyonce doesn?t sit backstage thinking, ?This is never going to work?.?After wowing cinema audiences with hits like Chicago and Cold Mountain, for which she won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar, Renee decided to take some time away from the spotlight. When she stepped back out on to the red carpet in 2014, many commented that the star looked drastically different, though the 47-year-old has always maintained her changing looks were down to her happier mindset and romance with musician Doyle Bramhall II . ?I needed to stop,? she said of her Hollywood hiatus. ?It was time. I?m a working girl, but I did save so that, when it was time for me to take a minute, I could visit my parents. I spent time with my brother and his children. I made a home for myself. I fell in love with somebody.?
