The director of Shazam David Sandberg said that the initial date for the release of Shazam 2 will not change due to the corona virus outbreak, but Warner Bros has rescheduled the release of the movie to the 4th of November 2022.
In an earlier interview Sandberg claimed that the movie is on track and the filmmakers have no plans in changing the date and his team is proceeding with precaution during the current circumstances we live in.
He added that they were going to start filming this year and who knows how long this outbreak will take because he feels like every movie is being delayed but they will see how things go with Shazam. Sandberg has been working on the script and he believes that it can still be done, and they will see how it looks in a couple of months.
