It really is the stuff reality shows are made of. As reported by Sowetan Live’s Emmanuel Tjiya, police were called in on Sunday night in an attempt to calm the tension between the family of Idols SA twins Viggy and Virginia Qwabe after Virginia was voted out.
According to the article, Mzansi Magic stated that the twins' father Laurence Qwabe had orchestrated the intervention by allegedly threatening to shut down the live production immediately after Virginia was eliminated from the singing competition.
It was alleged that the channel had manipulated the votes. Laurence Qwabe was apparently not willing to engage in any form of discussion with the management team.
With regards to the saga, Mzansi Magic posted on Instagram 2 days ago that rumours of bullying that had surfaced regarding the Qwabe twin's exit were completely unsubstantiated.
