Quentin Tarantino has announced that he will direct two more feature films? rounding his feature films to a total of 10- and then give up filmmaking for good.
"Drop the mic. Boom. Tell everybody, 'Match that s**t,'" Tarantino said to the crowd at the Adobe Max conference in San Diego on Thursday.
When asked how he defines his success he said "Hopefully, the way I define success when I finish my career is that I'm considered one of the greatest filmmakers that ever lived."
He added that going further he wants to also be known as a great artist and not just a filmmaker.
With eight movies already under his belt -Reservoir Dogs(1992),Pulp Fiction(1994),Jackie Brown(1997),Kill Bill: Volume 1(2003),Kill Bill: Volume 2(2004),Death Proof(2007),Inglourious Basterds(2009),Django Unchained(2012), and last year'sThe Hateful Eight?he has won two Oscars, both for Best Original Screenplay and was nominated for another two, both for Best Director.
Tarantino is currently working on his 9th feature which he says is a ?Bonnie and Clyde-esque? story set in 1930s Australia.
