Ghislaine Maxwell, sentenced on 28 June to 20 years in prison for sex trafficking, will serve out her time in a low-security facility that was the inspiration behind the popular Netflix TV series 'Orange Is the New Black'.
The Danbury Federal Correctional Institution in Connecticut has been likened by the Daily Mail’s Tom Leonard to Disneyland in comparison to the ‘hellhole’ Maxwell has been in for the last two years while awaiting sentencing.
