Prince Rogers Nelson, famously known as Prince has passed away at the age of 57. He is described as iconinc, legendary and the most talented artist of the passed 50 years. Others describe him as humanitarian who was deeply concerned about human rights and issues surrounding human rights.
According to rankings.gawker Prince, Madonna and Michael Jackson were born just three months apart. Each redefined music and the way we listen to it. Rollingstone describes Prince as, "A singular force, he famously performed, produced and wrote nearly all of his own songs at the beginning of his career and would go on to build a music empire out of his home near Minneapolis as he expanded his musical vocabulary. Four of his albums topped the Billboard 200, and the RIAA awarded 20 of his LPs with gold, platinum and multiplatinum plaques.
Tributes for the late icon have been pouring in ever since the announcement, but one that's the most noticeable is from Madonna, the last living icon of the three who were known for refining music in the 80's.
Madonna took to Instagram only one hour after the news broke with the following post:
