Yesterday saw Prince Harry make his first public appearance since the news broke of his and Meghan Markle’s desire to step down as senior royals.
Queen Elizabeth has gracefully accepted their wish to lead a more independent life and now Britain and the world watches to see how the couple will navigate life as 'part-time' royals.
The prince watched children playing rugby league in the back garden of Buckingham Palace ahead of making the draw for the sport's World Cup next year. It is said to be his last official engagement as a ‘full’ royal.

While criticism of the couple has been extremely harsh in the media there has been a humorous take on this new move in the form of some really funny memes. And of course, these unfolding events have provided the writers of the hit Netflix series The Crown with some great new material.
