A young 21-year-old woman of Polish nationality has launched a social media campaign in which she claims to be the abducted daughter of Kate and Gerry McCann.
Although Madeleine would only be 19 years old now, Julia Faustyna has said she doesn’t believe her age is accurate. (Faustyna also goes by the names Julia Wendell and Julia Wandelt.)
Her Instagram profile, (@iammadeleinemccan), already has more than half a million followers and she has posted over 50 photographs comparing her physical features with those of the missing child.
According to Faustyna, Kate, and Gerry have agreed to a DNA test to end the speculation around her story.
Faustyna has been lambasted by many online who say she looks nothing like Madeleine and that she is just seeking attention.
