South African actress, Pearl Thusi, was declared "one to watch" by beauty and lifestyle magazine, Essence.
Thusi was featured in the February issue of the magazine.
"It's my first time as a series regular outside of South Africa. I really hope to represent all the people of my continent well. This is the role that may just decide what happens to the rest of my life," she in an interview with the magazine.
She added that her role in Quantico is a victory for herself and Africa.
Pearl made her debut on Quantico in September 2017.
