South Africa’s internationally loved comedian, Trevor Noah, has had quite a year and it just got even better. Noah has received a Grammy nomination for the best comedy album at the 62nd Grammy Awards and will go up against heavyweights like Ellen DeGeneres, Jim Gaffigan and Dave Chappelle on the 26 January at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles.
Nominated for his Netflix stand-up special 'Trevor Noah: Son of Patricia', Noah was over the moon to wake up to the news saying on Twitter "Today I woke up to the news that I’ve been nominated for a Grammy Award!!! I’m so grateful."
Good luck Trev, Mzanzi is so very proud of you!
