Stunning Mzansi actress and UNHCR Goodwill ambassador Nomzamo Mbatha is sharing the spoils of her success with none other than her mum – or ‘mommy’ as she refers to her on social media.
Expressing her joy at being able to treat her mother to her first trip abroad, Mbatha has posted some beautiful pictures of herself and her mother living the good life in the first stop on their holiday – Istanbul.
There is no doubt that Mbatha's success will continue once she has been seen on the big screen alongside Eddie Murphy in Coming 2 America. Filming on the movie officially wrapped in November last year and the expected release date is said to be sometime in December this year.
The 29-year-old joined the iconic cast of the 1988 cult classic and got to act with big industry names like James Earl Jones (King Jaffe Joffer) and Arsenio Hall (Semmi). Eddie Murphy said in a recent interview that he ”couldn’t be happier” with how Coming 2 America turned out. Fans will have waited for over 30 years since the original when it finally hits movie houses across the globe. It is a testament to her talent that Mbatha was picked to be a part of this much-anticipated sequel.
