Nikita Murray has released a statement via her lawyer informing the media that she has been tested for an STD and the results have come back negative.
Katlego Maboe’s life was changed irrevocably a couple of weeks ago when a video of a confrontation between himself and his partner, Monique Muller, went viral. The video shows a fiery confrontation on the part of Muller, and a somewhat subdued Maboe, admitting that he cheated on her.
In the video Muller subsequently goes on a tirade saying that she had contracted an STD because of Maboe's philandering.
Since the sharing of the clip on social media, abuse allegations have also been levelled against the media personality. He was subsequently taken off SABC3’s Espresso show and OUTsurance pulled all their advertisements in which he featured.
Nikita's lawyer, Vincent Bergh of Liquor Law and Business Consultants, have now issued the statement to set the record straight, dubbing the viral video “malicious”.
Maboe did confirm in an interview with BingeNews that he had in fact given Muller an STD. He also took to Twitter confessing to the STD allegation but insisting that he would never abuse anyone, “I have always and will always stand up against the abuse of women and children - in fact, the abuse of anyone for that matter. I had chosen to deal with this matter privately to protect and safeguard our child. At the end of the day, our child is all that matters to me."
