Nicki Minaj has said that she wants to dethrone Jay-Z and take his spot at the top of hip-hop.
The 'Superbass' rapper, who releases her new LP 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded' on April 3, told Allure magazine that she'd already told Jay-Z that she was planning on taking his spot at the summit of hip-hop.
"I never thought about music as just being the end-all, be-all," she said. "I always looked at it like a business, something that I could create an empire out of."
She went on to add: I had a little conversation with Jay-Z at the Victoria's Secret fashion show. He said,' Congratulations on all your success.' And I was like, 'Yeah, I'm coming for you. I'm coming for your spot, Mr.Mogul.'
Last week (March 9), it was reported that Britney Spears could make a guest appearance on 'Pink Friday: Roman's Reloaded', after she was included on a 'leaked' tracklisting for the LP. Previously, Minaj performed live with Spears on her 'Femme Fatale' tour last year, and also featured on a remix of her single 'Till The World Ends'.
