A new Afrikaans sitcom featuring the cream of the crop of SA talent will take to the small screen on kykNET on Monday the 8th July.
The thirteen-episode series is called Lui maar op, Belinda and, as hard as it is to believe, it will be the first time ever that two stars of stage and screen, Brümilda van Rensburg and Annelisa Weiland, will appear together in a series.
Other leading cast members include Eric Nobbs, Carmen Maarman, Duncan Johnson, and newcomer Wian Taljaard.
Lui maar op, Belinda is set in George where all the characters work at a general dealer.
The main writer of the series is Chris Vorster, with the idea of having been conceptualised by Marcel Spaumer.
