Afrikaans fans of the genre can look forward to the launch of a new daily soapie, Kelders van Geheime, featuring a stellar cast of legendary South African TV and theatre actors.
Produced by etv, the series is based on the wheelings and dealings of the Soebatskloof community and is set primarily on a wine farm in the Cape. The members of three families: the Abrahams, Syster, and Marais households, are the main characters around whom the soapie revolves.
The series stars, amongst others, Duanne Williams, Vinette Ebrahim, Joey Syster, Riana Alfreds, Isle Roos, Nic de Jager and Sandra Prinsloo to mention but a few.
