Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler's latest movie venture together has broken a record on Netflix, proving that star power counts no matter the movie.
According to the Netflix is a joke Twitter account, Murder Mystery has had the biggest opening for an original film on the streaming service.
Murder Mystery also stars South African actor John Kani in the role of Colonel Ulenga.
So what is the movie about? It centres around a NYC cop (Adam Sandler) who finally takes his wife (Jennifer Aniston) on a long-promised holiday trip, a chance meeting on the flight gets them invited to an intimate family gathering on the Super Yacht of elderly billionaire Malcolm Quince (Terence Stamp). When Quince is murdered, they become the prime suspects in a modern-day whodunit.
