Footage of the new Joker movie has been posted all over social media and the internet. The latest footage is a creepy walk through the Brooklyn subway.
Joaquin Phoenix is very brave to take on a role that has never been played better before the character was embodied by Heath Ledger.
But with all the footage being released, it seems that Jaoquin embodies the Joker with a suitable creepiness that is going to be equally as mind-blowing as the performance delivered by Heath Ledger.
In this pre-edited footage posted by Hollywood Pipeline the Joker casually walks away from whatever destruction he has just caused with an air of insanity surrounding him.
In the many takes that were taken, an extra dressed as an officer falls as a result of a pulled hamstring. This leads to a retake of the scene, and each time Joaquin does a retake, it's like deja vu, no changes to the character are made.
As previous published, this movie will be an origin story and is set in Gotham City in the 1980s.
The release date is set for 2019.
