Former model and actress, Kim Porter, was pronounced dead at the age of 47.
On Thursday, Porter was found unresponsive at her Los Angeles home. According to an emergency dispatch call posted on TMZ, the 911 call came in as a cardiac arrest. The cause of death is not clear and an autopsy will be performed.
In 1988, Porter moved to Atlanta to pursue her modeling career. She appeared in a number of fashion shows and on magazine covers such as Jet.
As an actress, Porter had roles in TV shows such as Law & Order, Wicked Wicked Games, and Single Ladies.
Porter dated Sean 'Diddy' Combs, in an on-and-off relationship from 1994 until they split in 2007. They have three children together, 20-year-old son, Christian, and 11-year-old twin daughters, D’Lila Star and Jessie James. Porter also has a 27-year-old son, Quincy Brown, from a previous relationship with singer Al B. Sure.
