On Wednesday, 24-year-old Ntandoyenkosi Kunene, took off for Manila in the Philippines for the 65th Miss Universe pageant.
Kunene will be representing South Africa and competing against over 87 other countries. She will be dressed by luxury fashion brand designers Quiteria and George.
The Miss Universe pageant will be hosted by comedian Steve Harvey, who made headlines last year for announcing the wrong winner. He will be joined by US plus-size model, Ashley Graham as co-host.
