Two women, born and raised in the Eastern Cape have made the list of top ten hopefuls for Miss SA 2020.
The 24-year-old Aphelele Mbiyo was born in Mthatha, raised in Port Elizabeth and currently resides in Johannesburg. She holds a BA degree in Integrated Marketing Communications.
Melissa Nayimuli was the second Eastern Cape finalist.
The 24-year-old who also now lives in Johannesburg was born in Butterworth and holds a BA in Motion Picture Medium from AFDA and majored in television writing.

Chantelle Pretorius (24) from Tshwane (International model)
Jordan van der Vyver (24) from Cape Town (International model)
Karishma Ramdev (25) from KZN (Medical Doctor)
Lebogang Mahlangu (24) from Soshanguve, Gauteng, (Food scientist)
Natasha Joubert (23) from Centurion (works in Public Relations)
Shudufhadzo Musida (24) comes from Ha-Masia in Limpopo and has a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Pretoria. She is currently doing her BA Honours in International Relations at the University of Witwatersrand. (Musida won the public vote which automatically secured her a spot in the Top 10)
Thato Mosehle (25) from Klerksdorp in NW (Medical Doctor)
The new Miss SA will be crowned on the 24th of October.
