When 29-year-old warrant officer Thapelo Molomo was crowned the winner of Idols SA season 18 yesterday, November 13, South Africa’s Minister of Police General Bheki Cele was quick to get in on the action.
The minister attended the finale and made sure to congratulate Thapelo saying, “ We are proud of him and wish him all the best. We cannot wait to have him back in office to continue serving our men and women in blue."
