On the restaurant's official website, there is a notice saying that the restaurant is closed until further notice.
The Mirror was one of the first media outlets to post images of the damage wrought by the fires.
According to Reuters the Wildfires on Hawaii's Maui “have killed at least 96 people, forced tens of thousands of residents and tourists to evacuate the island, and devastated the historic resort city of Lahaina. It's the deadliest U.S. wildfire in more than a century. The Big Island of Hawaii is also battling wildfires, which have caused no fatalities.”
The wildfires started on August 8 and the death toll currently stands at 96, a figure that officials say will rise steadily as cadaver dogs continue to search through the rubble and firefighters battle to control flare-ups.
