Actress Michelle Rodriguez has assured Fast & Furious film fans her castmates Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson will sort out their differences. Johnson, who plays government agent Luke Hobbs in the film franchise, reportedly fell out with his co-star and producer while filming Fast 8 and the former wrestler stunned fans when he appeared to take aim at his castmate in a social media rant about his male co-stars' bad behaviour behind the camera. He has never named names, but insiders claimed the post was targeted at Diesel, and former wrestler Dwayne fuelled the speculation last month (Aug16) when he took to Instagram to thank the cast and crew as the movie wrapped. He did not mention Diesel. In recent weeks fellow cast members Scott Eastwood and Jason Statham have dodged the question about the film feud, but Rodriguez, who plays the girlfriend of Vin's character in the car racing movies, has opened up a little about the spat."Any human being who knows what men are like knows to stay out (of those) situations and let them figure it out," she tells People."They're bros (brothers), man.
They're friends, and ultimately even friends reach a point where they have to set aside their differences to make a movie for multi-cultural people around the world, and that is the bigger scheme of things."And she suggests the memory of late cast mate Paul Walker will resolve any on-set squabble, adding, "That is bigger than all of us. It is bigger than me, it's bigger than Vin, it's bigger than Dwayne, and all of us involved."Ultimately, at the end of the day, that is what shuts all of us up. When we remember what it is that we are here for, all the bad taste comes out of our mouth and we hug each other again. It's just real, it always ends with that, no matter what happens."Diesel has yet to address the reported feud, but in a recent Facebook Live appearance he suggested he had no problems with his cast mate, telling fans his fellow action man "shined" as Hobbs in Fast 8.
