Michael Jackson to keep place in Rock and Roll Hall of Fame despite abuse claims


Despite renewed allegations of sexual abuse having been made against the King of Pop, he will not be losing his spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame anytime soon. 

According to TMZ, representatives from the Hall of Fame are insisting that Jackson’s tribute will not be removed following the intense media attention refocused on Michael Jackson after the airing of HOBO”S Leaving Neverland documentary. The late Michael Jackson was inducted into the prestigious museum in 2001 by NSYNC, he features in two exhibits, with his work with The Jackson 5 also honoured. 

The controversial Leaving Neverland documentary features allegations from Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who claim that Michael sexually abused them as children. 

Michael's estate is reportedly suing HBO, who co-produced the movie with Channel 4, they have labelled Safechuck and Robson as perjurers' and 'admitted liars'.
