The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have launched their own official Instagram page, adding to the three royal accounts already in operation.
It is, without doubt, a move that will have the press further speculating about the supposed rift between themselves and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Prior to this, the two couples had shared an Instagram account.
The popular royal couple's first post contained a beautifully worded invitation to follow them along with their joint monogram, as well as plenty of their favourite pictures. Within just 12 hours of its launch, the account had attracted more than 1.7 million followers, that figure now stands at 2 million and counting. By comparison, @The Royal Family has 5 million followers, @KensingtonRoyal has 7.2 million and @ClarenceHouse has 657,000.
Now all that remains to be seen is if the thoroughly modern couple will give the world its first glimpse of baby Sussex via Instagram!
