Netflix has announced that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have signed a multi-year production deal that will see the couple producing exclusive films and series for the service.
According to the New York Times, the deal will see them produce scripted series, docu-series, documentaries, features and children programmes.
The financial terms of the mega-deal signed by the couple, who have little producing experience, was not disclosed.
In a statement released to the media, the couple said,” Our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope. As new parents, making inspirational family programming is also important to us.”
Their productions will be exclusive to Netflix, which has 193 million subscribers worldwide.
According to various sources the husband and wife team might appear in some of the productions but Meghan has no intention of returning to acting.
After just six months since exiting 'the Firm', this is quite a deal but, let's face it, it's doubtful they'll find the privacy they so crave in the movie-making business.
You can see Harry make his Netflix debut in the documentary, Rising Phoenix, which tells the story of the origin of the Paralympic Invictus Games, an international adaptive multi-sport event, founded by the Prince.
