Mark Marshall does it again with launch of children’s book

The passionate conservationist, affectionately known as the ‘snake man’, is fast becoming a household name. His latest venture is a testament to his desire to educate the youth about the wonders of the world around them.

Moms and dads make sure you get your hands on The Cocoon – a delightful children’s book that tells the engaging tale of Emma, a young girl who discovers an intriguing object in her garden and goes immediately to Uncle Mark to answer all her questions. Readers of all ages will enjoy Emma’s adventure as she learns about nature and the life cycle of the emperor moth. The book is beautifully illustrated by Bradford Marshall.

Mark will be launching the book on June 1st at  My Magic Words, Shop 5, Greenways Medical Centre & Office Park, corner Buffelsfontein & Melsetter Roads, Lovemore Heights. You will be able to purchase the book at the reading of which there are two sessions – 10 am and 11 am. To book What’s App 063 7731623

Part of Mark’s work in conservation has always been to educate young minds through Sandula Kids, a wing of his company, Sandula Conservation. Through this medium, he runs various educational and informative talks for schools, birthday parties and events. Fondly referred to as Uncle Mark by the children he works with, Mark's calm and entertaining way of communicating about nature is a winner with children and adults alike.

Recently interviewed on Algoa FM Breakfast with Wayne, Lee and Charlie T, Mark was a huge hit with the listeners who asked the Breakfast Team to invite him back!

You can catch Mark on his soon-to-be-launched limited edition series on Peoples Weather Channel later this month. Mark, brings his wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm for reptile conservation to the small screen as he shares insights and stories about the captivating world of our local nature in Mark Marshall: Nature Guide.

The series takes children (and adults!) on an educational adventure, exploring the wonders of Gqeberha’s natural environment. From tortoises to snakes and monitors, viewers will get to know these fascinating creatures.

Mark Marshall: Nature Guide was shot and produced in Gqeberha by the skilled team at Media Seven, ensuring high-quality visuals and engaging content.
