They looked like the perfect couple, when Marc gave the final rose to the stunning 24-year-old blonde on the Season Finalé of The Batchelor SA, it seemed to be ‘game, set and match.’
But as previously reported, mid-July Marisia announced via social media that she and Marc had ended their relationship. She said on her Instagram account, "When I put my hands in yours one day, I'll know that I can pack away my map, knowing that my search for you is over." It was followed by several hashtags, including #KnowYourWorth, #NotSettling and #NotGivingUpLoveJustYet.
The break up was then confirmed when Marisia responded to a follower in the comment section who asked, "Are you guys still together or no?" by replying: "No, haven't been for a while."
The couple then unfollowed each other on Instagram. Marc subsequently did an interview with YOU telling them that he had not seen Marisia's post as she had blocked him. He also said, "I can't talk about this now. I have a lot to process."
In an Instagram Story shortly after that the 24-year-old speech therapist said that she would be taking a break from social media; however, she remained active on Instagram for several weeks.
Marisia has now deleted her Instagram account. Despite attempts by various media sources to speak to the couple, they are remaining tight-lipped saying that when they re ready they will talk.
What could possibly have gone wrong – was it one little thing – or a million little things? This crazy little thing called love! No doubt their fans would love to know - in all probability, they will eventually make a public statement.
This was Marc's last post of them together as a couple.
