Yesterday it was reported that Brendan Dassey, who became a household name after the popular online streaming service Netflix, created a docu-series of the murder of Teresa Halbach, would be released.
Brendan Dassey was convicted along with his uncle, Steven Avery for the murder of 27-year-old, Teresa Halbach in 2005. Yesterday, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that judge William Duffin ordered that Dassy be freed from prison under supervision until the next steps in the case became clear.
Dassey's release was ordered because there is reason to believe that he was coerced into giving a confession about being involved in the murder of Teresa Halbach.
Even though U.S District Judge William Duffin issued the order and Wisconsin's attorney general, Brad Schimel, quickly moved to block the release, based on the following tweet, it seems Dassy will be released.
It's true. Judge Duffin granted Brendan's bond motion! More later. Someone from MAM nation will download order. I'm unable to for hours.
