Madonna’s rescheduled Celebration Tour will kick off in the UK after it was supposed to have started in July in Canada.
The multi-award-winning pop star was forced to cancel her tour after taking seriously ill and being hospitalized in intensive care in late June.
The US superstar’s manager, Guy Oseary, said in a statement at the time: "On Saturday, June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several-day stay in the ICU”.
64-year-old Madonna was due to start the North America leg of her The Celebration world tour, to mark the 40th anniversary of her musical career, in Vancouver, Canada, on 15 July.
The tour will now begin, 3 months on, at the sold-out O2 arena on 14 October.
The European leg of her tour includes shows in Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, and the Netherlands.
The Material Girl singer took to social media to tease the upcoming tour and elt her fans know that she would soon be back in action.
